We came here on our 2 week trip through the dolomites so we saw plenty of huts during our hike. This one climbed up our rating ladder quicker than any professional trail runner ever could. The service was outstanding, friendly, warm and really quick. The food was formidable and the hot shower and bed comfortable. We felt very welcome and would recommend this Refugio any time!
From the moment we walked into Rifugio Son Forca we knew it would be a good experience. The staff were happy and friendly and polite. Going so far as to remember my name and actually using it. I was impressed.
A great cabin in the mountains. Amazing location and you can reach the place through a rope car. We stayed there for two days and had amazing treks around the region. You can also buy meals in the rifugio if you didnt book it with your stay. And the people who run the place are really nice!
The most welcoming refugio with friendly staff - family run - a fantastic location with scenery to die for. The food is flavoursome and well cooked. Highly recommendable.
Brilliant location and really friendly staff! Rooms were good and the food provided as part of the half board package was good.
Terrace and some rooms offer a great view. Room & bathroom was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, food was OK.
I went to the toilet here, looked like they hadn’t cleaned it since the 1970s. The food was ok, not great in any way. It wasn’t heated very well and on a cold day you could not warm up properly. The fries were filled with air. But for taking a rest in a busy restaurant, it is fine.
Nature is magnificent...
Refuge is cozy. Food was nothing special. Portions are small.
They had 2/3 kinds of Tea...in place like that is not acceptable.
The value for money is embarrassing. We can confirm our recension because we eat in more than twenty Refuges and Emalge in all the Dolomites!
Won't comment one of the "waitres" that was wearing Slippers and was dragging his feets...
All can be definitely better...starting with professional attitude.
